Campus Life

Ava

Campus Life is a place where students can come together to build friendships, have fun, and most importantly, learn about God.

Ava is one of our sweet students who joins us each month at Chambers Academy. At our annual event in February, she shared her story. If you’d like to hear firsthand the impact Campus Life has had on her life, click the link below.

Nancy

Nancy is one of our Campus Life students and has a powerful story from her time in Campus Life. She courageously shared at our February event about her journey, the challenges she has faced, and how God has been at work in her life through it all. Her honesty and strength are a reminder of the impact of these spaces and the hope that is being built in our students. You will not want to miss it.

Campus Life

Ayden

Our leaders are making a real impact and Ayden’s story shows it. At Campus Life, he has grown from simply attending to confidently living out his faith, with the leaders faithfully walking alongside him every step of the way.

Stories like his remind us why this work matters. Students are being seen, known, and pointed to Jesus in real, personal ways.

Bre

Bre has served with Youth for Christ for over 9 years: faithfully serving in our JJM ministry at the Girls Ranch and now leading Campus Life at Opelika Middle School. She was also honored as Teacher of the Year, and her life reflects how powerfully God has worked through her in every season.

Sawyer

Sawyer has been a student leader at Valley High for the past two years, and he brings a contagious enthusiasm everywhere he goes. He has a natural ability to get students involved, helping even the most hesitant ones jump in, participate, and genuinely have fun. His energy sets the tone, but it’s his heart that makes the lasting impact.

Sawyer intentionally shows the love of Christ by noticing each student as they walk through the door, welcoming them in, and making sure no one feels overlooked.

Juvenile Justice Ministry

Jay

Jay has been involved with Youth for Christ for the past few years, and his journey is powerful. As he shares his story, you can feel the weight of what he has walked through and the hope God has brought into his life.

There are many more young people just like Jay who feel trapped with no way forward beyond the juvenile justice system. But Jesus offers a different story, and there is a place for you in helping bring that hope to them.

Juvenile Justice Ministry

Preston

We meet young men every week who have never known life outside the juvenile justice system. For many of them, instability, broken relationships, and hard choices have been their normal. They’ve never been shown another way.

Preston was one of those young men. But God had a different story in mind. Through faithful mentors and the truth of the Gospel, Preston encountered Jesus in a real and life-changing way. His story is powerful, and it’s proof that no one is too far gone for God to redeem. Take a moment to watch his testimony.

Juvenile Justice Ministry

Jacob

Jacob has been part of YFC for over 7 years, starting as a donor/volunteer and now serving as our JJM Director. Over the years, he’s built meaningful relationships with young men and has a deep passion for sharing the Gospel and helping them see there’s a life beyond the juvenile system

Juvenile Justice Ministry

Layden

Layden’s story is a powerful reminder that no life is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Not long ago he was in a juvenile facility, but today he is walking in freedom and sharing how God has changed his life. Take a moment to listen to his testimony from Comedy Café and see the impact that caring adults and the hope of Christ can make in a young person’s life.

J'Naye

J'Naye shares about her time at Campus Life with honesty and gratitude. She talks about walking in unsure at first, not knowing what to expect, and slowly finding a place where she felt seen, valued, and loved. Through weekly meetings, meaningful conversations, and leaders who truly cared, Campus Life became more than just a club: it became a safe space.
